Dog Car Seat Cover Waterproof – Non-Slip Back Seat Protector for Dogs & Kids | Universal Fit

I’ve owned the WeatherTech and a hammock type seat cover for my rav4 and in addition to this one in my collection. Im split between going back to the WT and the basket hammock. I like the headrest adjustable clips, they ensure that at whatever height is where they stay and keeps them from moving, the fabric is made of somewhat decent quality and doesn’t hold scratches and seems to be water repellent. Not sure about waterproof, but with that being told, it does not grip hair. One small crack of the window down and all the hair flies throughout the vehicle. This is a huge con. However, as well as a lightweight handle that keeps it in the seat. It’s not very thick, but it does its job. The worst part of this aside from it not gripping any hair is that there is no grip to this seat cover when my dog gets on it, she flips the front side of the bench and the side to get unto the seat so it just lets more fur under the cover in what it’s supposed to be protecting. It is the definition of lightweight but not very durable. Like dollar tree. I’ve placed an old bath towel under the seat cover. The seat bet holder for the dog is just fake plastic and wouldn’t resist an impact. Cannot recommend for long term and will use intermittently. For context I have a 65# BMC who rides daily.

I didn’t purchase this to protect the backseat. I purchased it to cover up the stained seat in a used van I bought. It fits great and installed in a couple of minutes. It looks really nice and is made very well. Nice material and has side flaps and goes down over the front part of the seat too. Openings for the seatbelts and can be zipped down for center armrest or a 60/40 split seat. I’m very pleased with my purchase. For reference, I bought it for a 2012 Ford Transit Connects minivan.

Good back car seat cover! The car seat cover attaches easily, covers the whole back car seat of my Subaru, and it stays in place. The material is great, it is tough, and has a little cushioning, too. It can be wiped of easily, and I found it is resistant to staining (I spilled teriyaki sauce and wiped it off easily with a soapy sponge). It might be waterproof, but it is very resistant to liquids for sure. It is not made of slippery materials, so my dog doesn't slide around while the care is in motion. I gave it only 4 stars because the Velcro openings for the seat belts buckles are a little hard to open, and the buckle is hard to grab and pull through. But it still works fine, once you got it.
